Filey Bay has been Voted The Best Beach in Yorkshire. But we already knew that, with its 5 mile stretch of sandy perfection there is plenty to do to keep the whole family entertained.
Why not explore the Rock Pools at low tide on Filey Brigg, or play traditional beach games of rounders, bat and ball or cricket. The beach is perfect for kite flying too.
Enjoy a picnic and built sandcastles or create sand and pebble art. Don't forget to look out for the Ship Wreck at low tide up near Reighton Sands, and remember to search for fossils, glass pebbles and shells amongst the rocks.
The beach never feels too crowded even in peak season.
