As well as all the fantastic seaside villages and beaches just a short drive away. Filey and the surrounding area has lots do whatever the weather. Here are just a few options of things nearby and a little further afield.
Onsite
Use of the pool, steam room, sauna and gym are included in your stay and do not need to be booked in advance. Please use the leisure pass provided.
Away resorts also run a programme of activities for all ages on site. Including games and crafts. These are available to book online at
The small amusement arcade on site includes a pool table and various gaming machines.
Meadow View is fully equipped with lots of board games to keep all ages entertained. A Wii console is provided and you will find all the games and handsets in the large foot stool. DVD’s are provided and the smart TV has access to Netflix and other streaming services.
Nearby
The Glen Gardens at Filey have something for all, with plenty of picnic benches and a café. You can soon spend a lovely few hours taking the pedaloes out on the boating lake, playing crazy golf, enjoying the play area and having a jump around on the trampolines. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
Filey Animal & Bird Park
Visit the animals, birds, gardens and playpark. Dogs welcome on the lead except in the play park.
On the promenade at Filey you will find the newly refurbed Outdoor Toddler Pool, Crazy Golf and Inflatables. At the far end on the coble landing is the amusement arcade.
Discover the Rockpools on Filey Brigg- take the buckets and nets and search the rock pools for crabs, starfish and seahorses. Please be safe and check the tide times.

Birdspotting –

Fileys Dams- The last remaining freshwater marsh in the area.
